If mailing is more convenient, please send to: Firestone Farms HOA 125 St. Andrews Columbiana, OH 44408. Attn: Rentals.

Just a reminder, rental items are needed IN ADVANCE, before the day of the rental. In the past, some Neighbors have forgotten or delayed payment. Pool Closed until 2025 Season

This summer at the pool brought the community together to enjoy the amenities. We hope you were able to partake!  Special appreciation goes to one of our residents in particular for volunteering and taking time out of her day, most days to set up the pool, clean and maintain the area so the residents could relax and enjoy.  This was very generous of her and as a reminder, we all need to take the responsibility of keeping up the pool area.

The pool will be open again next season.  Until then, enjoy the upcoming holidays.

                 Fitness Room Updates

Stop in and see the changes and new equipment in the gym. The weight bench was replaced in March 2021.  The room includes bikes, treadmills, free weights, benches and the Precor Universal Gym “Strength System”.  The strength system helps you improve your strength conditioning more efficiently. You will be able to perform more than 30 types of lifts, rows, raises, curls, crunches, pull-downs, and presses at up to four compact stations – pulling/preacher, pressing, leg extension and the optional leg press. There are three individual weight stacks make it easy for multiple people to use it at the same time.

Please be considerate and remember to wipe down the equipment after you use it so it’s ready for the next person!

   Firestone Farms Preferred Trash Provider

In the past, the HOA negotiated a competitive rate and lowered the cost trash service for the neighborhood similar to a contract that Prestwick and Stonehaven currently have. Everyone to date has switched over and it has helped reduce trash pick up truck traffic on the streets resulting in a quieter, safer neighborhood and less wear on the infrastructure.

In order to keep this reduced rate, the trash service requires that all residents place their trash in the blue receptacle containers for the Tuesday morning pick up.  A new change is that no large items can be scheduled for pick up; those must be arranged as needed by the resident through a third party vendor.  As a reminder, to residents of Firestone Farm, Republic Services has committed to providing weekly trash pick up at a significant savings; a cost of $12.90 a month rate price.  Many in our community had already utilized their services and this agreement besides cost savings, allow us to benefit from less trash pick up truck traffic on our roads which is safer, quieter and less wear and tear on our streets.

If you’re new to the neighborhood or just didn’t get to sign up, remember to cancel your current trash service with any other provider if you are not already using Republic Services.

Your quarterly HOA fee will include trash service and be $218.70.

  • Ex. Due January 1 – January, February, March HOA & Trash is $218.70. Please remit to Bob Pasko as you currently do for HOA assessments.

If you need further clarification or understanding, please refer to the provider information that Republic Services has detailed on the included mailer regarding trash pick up information. You can also contact the following people:

Bob Pasko, Property Manager 724-625-8095

If you haven’t switched to the community rate yet and are ready to now; notify Bob Pasko. New service will begin at the first of the month after receiving your paperwork.

Calendar for Community Room Reservations

Click here to visit the calendar page, where you can make a reservation. You will find the Clubhouse Rules and Reservation Agreement link is available below to reference. The Clubhouse is for resident sponsored events.

The fee structure has changed so please refer to the Rental Agreement for the new cost associated.

This Community Center remains available for residents to rent for parties and events. In order to do so, the resident must be in good standing and current with dues.  Please note, as of 8/1/22, only the dining room area and kitchen are available to rent. The sitting room is not available to reserve so that all residents can access the building without interfering with events.

Please remember that we are all responsible to clean up after our parties, so the next person has a spotless area to begin set-up for their event.  Please set the room up as shown on the diagram chart located in the kitchen, wipe up the floor and clean out the refrigerator.  The cleaning company comes in weekly and refreshes the area and bathrooms but does not clean up after events.

The facility is for rent to residents only. Any subleasing will incur a penalty; charging the $200 security fee and potential inability to rent again for a year.

As a reminder, all doors must be kept closed during all events. Music and noise must be confined to the Clubhouse; no outside use of tents in the parking lot. Also, nothing can be affixed to the walls or ceiling. Also, to minimize damage, do not remove the artwork off the walls in the dining and sitting area.  If you have any questions, please contact Bob Pasko, Property Manager,  724-625-8095.

Stay Healthy

Workout in the exercise room; there’s something for everyone! Several cardio machines, free weights and a universal will help keep you strong, flexible and in shape.

For your hospitality, there is a soft drink and water vending machine as well as a microwave and refrigerator available at the pool level building entrance.

The workout room has been very popular during these past several months. Please be considerate of all and put weights back to clear the area and have available for others. Every ones safety and enjoyment is important; please follow the posted rules and etiquette in all areas.

Pool Deck and Wall Update

You may have noticed the new concrete surface around the pool deck.
As part of the Homeowners Association’s ongoing maintenance program, the following tasks were completed:

  • One section of the wall only had a footer about 15 inches below the ground so the wall was torn down and rebuilt with a proper footer.
  • The concrete deck was replaced where it was damaged, the cap on the top of the wall was replaced, and the rest of the stone repaired.
  • The dirt level was raised on the outside of the fence as a little more insurance to protect the footer.

Similar to the repairs done to the exterior of the building caused by faulty construction, Firestone Homestead LLC paid for 100% of the repairs. The Homeowners Association was not charged for for these repairs.
